Rich old Barossa Shiraz, hand selected, with mulberry, tobacco, leather and light oak overtones. A big wine with long flavours and rewarding characters. Full of plummy fruit balanced by abundant soft tannins. Matured in a combination of French and American oak.

Kilikanoon produces some of Australia’s finest wines thanks to the talents of winemaker Kevin Mitchell, and this wine is no exception. McLaren Vale at its very finest.

James Halliday Rating 95 Points.  This incredible shiraz was released at a price of $30 back in 2004 when the vintage was released.  Halliday felt this would be drinking well until 2015 and we certainly feel it can improve little from here, it is really drinking well now, this is a very fine Shiraz.
