Red Wine

This is a Kosher red wine, made by Tarrawarra Estate under the Kidron label to the highest winemaking and Kosher standards. The nose is a combination of juicy berries and spicy notes. The palate is full of soft fruit in a lighter, easy drinking style. The flavours are of the juicy berries on the nose with some typical Shiraz characters.

A fine example of cool climate Australian Shiraz with a vibrant nose of dark cherries, violets, a hint of clove and pepper and delicate cedar oak and tastes of dark chocolate and cherry fruit, forest berries, a touch of peppery spice.

90 points, James Halliday! - Regarded as the best preservative free wine in Australia the wine will age like a normal medium bodied dry red table wine and become rounder and softer with age.

The quirky label from Killara Estate and from the same Yarra Valley vineyard, but made to suit the casual `easy drinking` consumer. Clear varietal character of small red berry fruits, medium bodied and finishing with fine soft tannins.

An emerging wine style – the Viognier (white wine) softens and adds a subtle floral to the Shiraz. This one starts out with the aroma of plum, roses, spice and oak, followed by flavors full of ripe fruit and sweet spice, finishing with crisp acid and mellow tannins.

This is a very classy Barossa Shiraz, the inaugural vintage of the flagship Eight Uncles Shiraz.  Highly rated, see below and at its peak over the next year, this represents superb value.

This traditional Barossa Wine blends the plum and spice of shiraz with the berry and gamey characters of Grenache and the earthy Mourvedre. Paired with roasted red meat this is a knockout.

James Halliday Rating 95 Points.  This incredible shiraz was released at a price of $30 back in 2004 when the vintage was released.  Halliday felt this would be drinking well until 2015 and we certainly feel it can improve little from here, it is really drinking well now, this is a very fine Shiraz.

Although it might sound like a wine of Italian origin, it's 100% McLaren Vale Shiraz made by Mike Farmilo, a long deputy to former Penfolds chief winemaker John Duval and now one of McLaren Vale's - and Australia's - most respected red winemakers.

A warm growing season has produced a wine with lifted aromas of dark cherry, raspberry and plum and a hint of cinnamon spice. The pallet is brimming with juicy plum and dark berry fruit characters and the velvety tannins give the wine a fruit structure which is fine, silky and textured. Drink now as a fresh young wine or enjoy the benefits of short term cellaring.

This wine is smoky and spicy with plummy fruit characters. Enjoy now or cellar for 1 - 5 years to allow the full body of this luscious wine to develop. At its best with char-grilled steaks, vintage cheese or a red curry.
