Merlot

The quirky label from Killara Estate and from the same Yarra Valley vineyard, but made to suit the casual `easy drinking` consumer. Clear varietal character of small red berry fruits, medium bodied and finishing with fine soft tannins.

Full, ripe berry flavours and a velvet finish are hallmarks of a Restdown Merlot. Even in its youth, this wine is being enjoyed with game and charcuterie or matched with any roasted meats. Superbly balanced with french oak, this wine will also cellar well until 2013.
