"The top wine (of 217 entries) and trophy winner at the 2002 Visy Board Great Australian Shiraz Challenge... Great colour, then dark berry, licorice, leather and spice aromas flow into a rich, complex palate, with fruit, oak and tannins in harmonious abundance."

James Halliday Rating 95 Points. This incredible shiraz was released at a price of $30 back in 2004 when the vintage was released. Halliday felt this would be drinking well until 2015 and we certainly feel it can improve little from here, it is really drinking well now, this is a very fine Shiraz.
