Firestick is inspired by one of nature’s most dramatic night-time performances: the animated dance of lightning strikes that illuminate the vast Australian landscape when two opposing storm fronts clash. This third release is a full-bodied blend of 53% shiraz and 47% cabernet sauvignon, sourced from premium grape-growing regions in South Australia, where vines thrive in mild temperatures and fertile soils, allowing the grapes to develop full and intense flavours. These vineyards are located predominately in the highly regarded regions of Coonawarra and Langhorne Creek in South Australia.

This wine was made by Patrick Auld, award-winning winemaker at Poole’s Rock Wines. It is a full-bodied yet soft wine with aromas of plums, spice and earthiness, typical of this classic Australian blend. It makes an ideal accompaniment to a wide range of foods, particularly red meat dishes such as osso buco, lamb or beef casseroles.
