The 2004 Triple Crown consists of Cabernet Sauvignon 71.5%, Shiraz 14.8% and Merlot 13.7%. Deep red in colour with a purple tinge this wine displays a complex nose of leather, mint, mocha coffee, white pepper and blackberry. The Shiraz component contributes to a soft and complex palate building to a lingering mint and white pepper finish. An outstanding cool climate wine with depth, complexity and drinkability; sensational with curries.

Centrally located in Australia's premium wine district of Coonawarra, Punters Corner is a boutique winery and home of the 2000 Jimmy Watson Trophy. They consistently produce wines that make a variety of 'Top 100 Wines' lists, wines that are classically Australian in style and represent the best grapes available from their vineyards in any year.

All Punters Corner Wines are made under contract by Peter Bissell, winemaker at Balnaves of Coonawarra, who won the 2005 Qantas/Gourmet Traveller WINE, Winemaker of the Year. His talents were recognised again in 2008 when Balnaves of Coonawarra was awarded the 2008 Winery of the Year by James Halliday.
